Who am I?

I’m Juliana Boro, a 33-year-old Brazilian photographer who is in love with capturing the life my eyes lay on since the day I got my first ever cybershot camera at 12 years old.

I was born and raised in Santos, a coastal city in the State of São Paulo, Brazil and this is where I’m currently living.

Before pursuing my photography career, I graduated in Advertising at Universidade Prebisteriana Mackenzie in 2015, which lead me to live in São Paulo capital for 7 years. I’ve worked in advertising agencies as a designer, copywriter, and account executive.

But after 9 years in the advertising industry, I realized that I wanted to work with something that would make my heart race and that’s when I decided to finally give a chance to one of my oldest passions and saw that photography could be more than just my long-beloved hobby.

And for that to happen, I had to study it for real. I took it so seriously that in 2025, I got my photography diploma at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo. This course taught me not only all the techniques but the role and the importance of photography in the world.

In these 2 years of studying, I’ve had many meaningful and enriching experiences like exhibiting my photos several times at MUBA (Museu Belas Artes de São Paulo), photographing projects that aligned with my social and ethical values and having the privilege of meeting great personalities in photography such as Maureen Bisilliat, Bob Wolfenson, and many other names that were just as important and inspiring.

And since then, I’ve been dedicating my daily life to build my photographer career in the best way possible.

I couldn't be more excited to see where my photography journey will take me.
